At NanoNerds, we stand behind the quality of our products. This policy outlines the terms and conditions for returns and refunds. Please read carefully before making a purchase.
Return Eligibility
Return Window
You may request a return within 30 days of the delivery date confirmed by tracking.
Eligible Items
To be eligible for a return, items must meet all of the following conditions:

Non-Returnable Items
The following items are NOT eligible for return or refund:
- Opened magnesium electrolyte powder — Due to hygiene and safety concerns, opened powder products cannot be returned
- Products that are 50% or more used
- Products returned without prior authorization
- Products damaged due to customer misuse or negligence
- Products purchased during final sale or clearance promotions (if applicable)
- Gift cards
Return Process
Step 1: Request Authorization
Before returning any item, you must contact us to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA):

- Provide the reason for your return in writing
- Include photos of the product showing its current condition and usage level
- Wait for our approval and return instructions
Returns sent without prior authorization will not be accepted and will be returned to sender at your expense.
Step 2: Ship Your Return
Once approved:
- Securely package the item(s) to prevent damage during transit
- Ship to the address provided in your RMA approval
- Use a trackable shipping method — we are not responsible for lost return shipments
- Retain your tracking number as proof of shipment
Step 3: Receive Your Refund
- Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days after we receive and inspect your return
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method only
- You will receive an email confirmation when your refund is processed
Return Shipping Costs
Standard Returns
You are responsible for return shipping costs. The cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund amount.
- We recommend using a trackable shipping service
- We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable
Defective or Incorrect Items
If you received a defective or incorrect item:
- Contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the issue
- We will either:
- Provide a prepaid return label (return shipping at our expense), OR
- Send a replacement without requiring a return (at our discretion)
- Do not discard defective items until instructed

Refund Method
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method only
- No cash refunds, store credit, or alternative payment methods
- Credit card refunds may take an additional 5-10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your financial institution
Partial Refunds
We reserve the right to issue partial refunds for:
- Items returned in a condition inconsistent with what was described
- Items showing more usage than stated in the return request
- Items missing original packaging or components
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item:
- Return the original item following this policy
- Place a new order for the desired item
Order Cancellations
- Before shipping: Contact us immediately. If the order has not yet shipped, we will cancel it and issue a full refund.
- After shipping: The order cannot be canceled. You may refuse delivery or return the item once received, subject to this policy. Return shipping costs will apply.
Fraud and Abuse Policy
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for return fraud and abuse.
What Constitutes Abuse
- Filing multiple returns with false or exaggerated claims
- Returning products that are more used than stated
- Claiming items were defective when they were not
- "Wardrobing" (using products and returning them)
- Submitting returns for items not purchased from NanoNerds
- Any attempt to deceive or defraud
Consequences
If we determine that return abuse or fraud has occurred:
- Your account will be permanently banned
- Future orders will be refused and canceled
- We reserve the right to refuse refunds on pending returns
- We may pursue legal action to recover losses
- Your information may be reported to fraud prevention services
We track return patterns across all accounts and payment methods. Abuse will be detected.
Dispute Resolution
If you have a concern about your order or our products:

- We are committed to resolving issues fairly and promptly
- Most concerns can be resolved within 48-72 hours
Filing a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us is a violation of our Terms of Service and may result in account termination and collection efforts for the disputed amount plus fees.
